working for "the man." - a story from corporate america's front lines

Today at work, a women that I have never met sent me an instant message. She was soliciting some assistance on a project. I told her I was happy to help but was tied up in meetings all morning and asked if we could discuss in the afternoon. Her reply?

"Sounds great!! Thank you so very, berry much! :-)"

Wow. Apparently, I am now employed at Smurf Village.

i'm thinking she might have been referring to gummy bears. it seems more like something they would say. remember gummy beary juice? maybe some of that would help you today.

bottom line though...unless your a kindegarten teacher that should probably not come out of ones mouth!

Jeff, you better watch your back when blogging about things at your work. Ever hear of dooce.com? She's pretty famous in the blogworld for losing her job b/c she blogged about it. On second thought, keep it up...maybe you'll become famous. It is TYOTD.
