Boston Market heaven

Please go to the following link to discover the food habits of mystery man Jeffer "Lar-Dawg". I went to the website today in hopes of finding a picture to post of their new supermarket frozen dinners...Jeff's dream. Instead I found the following "prescription" they recommend following. It looks like they have some really great videos about how their food has influenced society as well.

hello, boston market. i love you.

i've mentioned previously that i eat out every meal (and am a lazy bastard for it). how I've kept this body looking like a rock-hard piece of man candy has been a mystery...until now. for my money, you simply can not beat the quarter-chicken dark meal with mashed potatoes/gravy and creamed spinach from my favorite, boston market. i seriously have an emotional response even thinking about it. so freaking good! never mind that their target demographic is adults 55+. age is wisdom, people, and all the fogies (and me) roll where cost-effective home-meal replacement is nutritious and delicious

(for some reason, i'm reminded of how I used to eat 'luna' nutrition bars in college. dang, i loved those things. it wasn't until months later that i discovered they were actually chemically designed for women. that would explain these beautiful, firm breasts.)

oh, tender dark chicken...how you have been seasoned to succulent perfection and sent down from on high by the almighty creator of the universe. delicious gourment side items: creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, how you taste so yum yum yummity and work together to knock out my fda-recommended daily veggie intake. let's not forget about you, cornbread. you are a delight. the sweet and supple nectar that keeps me coming back again...and again.

who need's a wife when there's boston market?

have a look at pure joy...

coleslaw and ketchup

So today I had the privilege of having my weekly lunch with Jeff at Backyard Burger. I am quickly tiring of the daily interventions on Jeff's part to get me to post, so here it goes. I thought some "soundbites" of Jeff's may be fun. All of these were said to me while I watched Jeff eat two, yes two chicken sandwiches covered in coleslaw and dipped in ketchup. Yummy.

"It's really cool to see you make comments on the blogs of others while not posting on ours"

"Hey look, those ladies are Amish."

"Hey, just go ahead and grab me a couple of things of ketchup okay?"

"I'll have the chicken with the coleslaw on it" (Jeff)

"That an interesting combination. Like living life on the edge." (worker)

"That's just how I live my life...dangerously". (Jeff)

Jeff just reminded me of another exchange at lunch...

This week I had a long day and was talking to Jeff. So he said "you and I are going to go down to Columbia this weekend". "I am already" I said. "uh...I mean, you can go if you want I guess". Jeff told me he had a golf game on Friday but I was leaving earlier than he would be done. He was disappointed. I called him at 5 on Friday and I found out at lunch today that Jeff saw the missed call and thought "maybe Sarah is going to wait for me so I can go". "Hey Jeff...so glad you called me back...I am on my way to Columbia, do you know Clark's favorite beer? Boulevard Wheat? Okay cool. Have a great weekend." Sorry Jeff. I really wish you could have spent the weekend with me, Clark, and Kerry watching football and tennis while alternately talking about "deep things".

The Eddy's live across the way from a magician named Peter. I learned some card tricks, but most importantly Peter was able to clear up all my questions about David Blaine. I have been totally freaked out by his "powers" but now I know the tricks. I feel so much better. I know a couple of you have been afraid of David Blaine as well so this should come as a comfort to you.

That's it for now. Not much news in my life, but at least I posted. Plus the point of this blog is meaninglessness.
