coleslaw and ketchup

So today I had the privilege of having my weekly lunch with Jeff at Backyard Burger. I am quickly tiring of the daily interventions on Jeff's part to get me to post, so here it goes. I thought some "soundbites" of Jeff's may be fun. All of these were said to me while I watched Jeff eat two, yes two chicken sandwiches covered in coleslaw and dipped in ketchup. Yummy.

"It's really cool to see you make comments on the blogs of others while not posting on ours"

"Hey look, those ladies are Amish."

"Hey, just go ahead and grab me a couple of things of ketchup okay?"

"I'll have the chicken with the coleslaw on it" (Jeff)

"That an interesting combination. Like living life on the edge." (worker)

"That's just how I live my life...dangerously". (Jeff)

Jeff just reminded me of another exchange at lunch...

This week I had a long day and was talking to Jeff. So he said "you and I are going to go down to Columbia this weekend". "I am already" I said. "uh...I mean, you can go if you want I guess". Jeff told me he had a golf game on Friday but I was leaving earlier than he would be done. He was disappointed. I called him at 5 on Friday and I found out at lunch today that Jeff saw the missed call and thought "maybe Sarah is going to wait for me so I can go". "Hey Jeff...so glad you called me back...I am on my way to Columbia, do you know Clark's favorite beer? Boulevard Wheat? Okay cool. Have a great weekend." Sorry Jeff. I really wish you could have spent the weekend with me, Clark, and Kerry watching football and tennis while alternately talking about "deep things".

The Eddy's live across the way from a magician named Peter. I learned some card tricks, but most importantly Peter was able to clear up all my questions about David Blaine. I have been totally freaked out by his "powers" but now I know the tricks. I feel so much better. I know a couple of you have been afraid of David Blaine as well so this should come as a comfort to you.

That's it for now. Not much news in my life, but at least I posted. Plus the point of this blog is meaninglessness.

What is this on again, off again relationship you and Jeff have...with the blog, not necessarily each other! You take weeks to post and now it has been over two weeks since the lawrdog has posted anything. Here's a word for the both of you - COMMITMENT!
