thumbs up, america.
i feel compelled to tell you all about a revolution that's going on...a "thumbs up" revolution. i can't explain where this popular gesture has gone in my life and the life of my friends over the last 20 years, but it's back ...and damn it feels good. welcome back, thumbs up.
for my money, nothing says "hey, it's all good" like a big ol' thumbs up. having a crap day? hey, thumbs up! gas prices got you down? cheer up, lil' bud...thumbs up! some a-hole just cut you off? how about giving that guy a thumbs up!
when i'm having a rough go at work, i like to pull myself aside and give myself a personal thumbs up. feeling better already!
this past weekend, some dudes went to the chiefs game. most fans cheered and did the tomahawk chop in their KC red and yellow...but not us. we just gave them the thumbs up. looking gooood, chiefs. (goulet.)
just tonight I received an email from my boy, clark, who recently moved away. did it have words? no. did it need to? no. just a picture of him giving me a big ol' thumbs up was enough to say "hey jeffer, it's aaaalll good." (pictured above)
